2. Service
Prokon provides Weldmaster (welding documentation management), cut-on-demand (cutting brokered through partner production) and free web tools.
3. Plans, prices and payment
The tools are free to use and print, even without registration. The subscription is personal: it is bought by an individual and applies to them across all their organizations; an organization stays unlocked while its user holds an active subscription. Current prices and plan scope are published on the Pricing page.
All prices exclude VAT and are in EUR. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.; we never receive or store card details. You receive an invoice for every payment by e-mail or in the billing portal. Businesses enter their name, address and VAT ID at checkout; for VAT-registered customers in other EU member states VAT is applied under the applicable rules (reverse charge where the conditions are met).
4. Term, renewal and cancellation
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the price list in force at renewal, until cancelled. You may cancel at any time in your account (Account settings → Subscription); access runs to the end of the period already paid for and no pro-rata refund is given for the current period. Where a one-off lifetime access is offered, it is a single purchase with no renewal. We notify you of any price change at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you do not accept it, cancel before renewal.
5. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer (a natural person acting outside their trade) generally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. As the subscription is a digital service supplied immediately, at checkout you expressly agree that performance begins before the withdrawal period expires and thereby lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (Slovenian ZVPot-1). If you have not used it, write to studio@prokon.si within 14 days and we will resolve it reasonably.
For cut-on-demand the right of withdrawal does not apply, as the goods are made to the consumer's precise specifications (see the Cut-on-demand section).
6. What happens when a subscription ends
Your data is not deleted when a subscription ends: the documentation stays visible and the organization reverts to the free plan's scope. You can export your data. Before any deletion due to prolonged inactivity we notify you in advance by e-mail.
Professional responsibility
The calculations and recommendations (ranges of qualification, WPQR coverage, parameter suggestions) are an aid and are based on the clauses of the applicable standards. The standard and the judgement of the responsible welding coordinator are authoritative (EN ISO 14731). The user is responsible for the correctness of the entered data and for the conformity of the final documentation.
Cut-on-demand
For cut-on-demand Prokon acts as a free broker: it connects the customer with a selected cutting partner, who issues the pro-forma invoice and the invoice directly. Prokon takes no commission and issues no financial documents — it only secures traceability (3.1 material certificates and plate heat numbers are attached to the customer's project). The on-site price is indicative only; the binding offer is made by the partner, with whom the customer contracts directly. Parts are made to your specifications (uploaded DXF files), so under Article 135 of the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1) consumers have no right of withdrawal from this distance contract.
We aim to resolve any disputes amicably. We do not recognise an out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider (IRPS); consumers may use the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Intellectual property and permitted use
The Prokon platform — the software, tools, calculation engines, algorithms, design, texts, data models and all site content — is the exclusive property of the provider and is protected by intellectual-property law. Use grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose; no ownership is transferred.
Without our express written permission it is prohibited to: copy, reproduce or adapt the site, tools or engines; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the code; scrape, bulk-extract data or circumvent access limits; redistribute, rent or resell; or use the tools, engines or data to build a competing product or service. A breach is grounds for immediate termination of access and any legal remedies.
Your content
The files and data you upload remain yours. We use them solely to deliver the service. You can cancel the subscription at any time and export your data.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prokon is not liable for any indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the site or reliance on the calculations without appropriate professional judgement.
