You start by marking a weld on the drawing. The system checks which WPQR covers it, generates a WPS from it, suggests a qualified welder with a certificate and links NDT inspection — everything collects into the technical dossier as you go, ready to hand over.

WPQR — coverage check
For each production weld it finds which WPQR covers it (thickness, position, material group, process) — the range exactly per EN ISO 15614-1.
WPS — generation
From a weld + WPQR pair it builds a WPS per EN ISO 15609-1; the run parameters are anchored to the actual runs from the certificate and always within the window the WPQR allows. Edit and save inside the project.
Welders — qualifications
Range of qualification and weld check per EN ISO 9606-1, plus tracking of the 6-month confirmations and certificate validity. The register suggests a qualified welder for each weld.
NDT — inspection
A register of NDT personnel certificates — method, level, validity — tied to weld inspections in the project, with scope by execution class per EN 1090-2.
Dossier — technical file
Everything above collects into the project’s technical dossier as you go — a coverage overview and an export, ready to hand over to the customer or the institute.

Standards are not suggestions.
Many WPQR/WPS programs are just a paraphrase of the standard — the developer reads a clause, interprets it their own way, adds tolerances that are not in the text. The result: two programs give two different ranges of qualification for the same WPQR.
Prokon computes the range exactly as the standard defines it — every rule is tied to a specific article, not to our interpretation. If you find a deviation from the standard, write to us and we will fix it.

Data is stored in the EU. Every organization is separate — your projects, welders and WPQRs are visible only to you. One user can have access to several organizations (an external coordinator, an engineering office).
